Mr. Jerry Li General Manager of  GLOBALLY (SHANGHAI) International Co., Ltd., and  Mr. Xavier Vicente Tamames Regional Sales Director for Asia-Pacific of  NOMAD together hosted the inaugural "NOMAD China Distributor Exclusive Trip" held in Bangkok for the 3 nights and 4 days at The Salil Riverside Hotel Bangkok. Late afternoon of the first day, all VIP guests arrived at NAVA Restaurant, The Salil Riverside Hotel in Bangkok, before the NOMAD Gala Dinner, everyone gathered together to see the sunset along the Bangkok riverfront while enjoying the special cocktail created by Mr. Boris Ivan (the third of the left), Gonzalez Byass International Brand Ambassador for the Spirits, from Nomad Whisky.





NOMAD Gala Dinner was both a welcome dinner upon arrival in Bangkok and the first debut of the three Nomad products to let everyone savor the unique style of Nomad whisky,

Boris Ivan started the dinner with a detailed explanation of all aspects of Nomad Outland Whisky, including its Origin, Aging Environment and Barrels allowing everyone to fully appreciate the exquisite craftsmanship behind each sip featuring with Thai traditional food set menu.





Experience the NOMAD Thai Traditional Day Trip on the second day in style as we embark on a journey dressed in exquisite Thai traditional attire. Our adventure begins with a serene private boat ride, guiding us along the enchanting waters to the iconic WAT ARUN,

Ta Chang Pier, where history and culture immerse you in the vibrant pulse of Bangkok's old town as we embark on an exhilarating "Tuk Tuk Experience” by Sawasdee Tuk Tuk. Wind through bustling streets and Majestic Landmarks, including the Royal Palace, while soaking in the rich tapestry of Thai heritage that surrounds for an unforgettable exploration of Thailand's cultural treasures, where every moment is a celebration of tradition and elegance.




Following a delectable "Thai street food" lunch at the renowned restaurant "Pad Thai Fai Ta Lu by Chef Andy Yang", whose establishment has been recommended by The Michelin Guide for the past five years and notably, this year. Chef Andy Yang created a special Pad Thai Set menu to parring with BERONIA Wine from Rioja, Spain served by LUCARIS Wine Glass, Asia’s first luxury crystal ware brand. The more smoother the taste becomes.




As dusk settled, we were greeted by the splendid sight of the Luxurious private Cruise "PRUEK," elegantly poised to prepare an Exclusive Fine Dining Experience hosted by NOMAD Outland Whisky. Boris Ivan stood ready to serve his signature NOMAD cocktails. Along the riverside under the vast expanse of the sky, the radiant hues of the setting sun blend seamlessly with the inviting ambiance, crafting a breathtaking panorama while we indulged in a five-course Thai feast perfectly paired with "BERONIA" One of the most renowned fine wine brands from La Rioja -the most famous wine region from Spain, very popular both in international and domestic markets- belongs to “GONZALEZ BYASS” family of wines, one of the top producers of premium quality wines and spirits in Spain for over 184 years. Beronia, which its name honors the “Berones”, the first inhabitants (3rd century BC)  of the region we know today as Rioja, is proud to offer continuous support to “Asia's 50 Best Restaurants 2024 awards”. Beronia is also the only official Worldwide Wine Sponsor of the “50 Best Restaurants Worldwide Awards”. the scene is set for an unforgettable evening. Amidst this romantic setting, guests savor the exquisite flavors of Nomad Whisky and Beronia wines, indulging in the refined opulence of the cruise until night gently descends upon the horizon of Bangkok.





The final day of our journey proved to be the pinnacle of excitement. Mr. Boris Ivan and Mr. Xavier Vicente Tamames collaborated to present a captivating masterclass, delving into the intricate relationship between Sherry barrels, aging, and Nomad Whisky. This enlightening session was followed by a lively cocktail-making competition, adding a delightful twist to the day then joined savored a traditional Spanish lunch at an authentic Paella House Bangkok Tapas & Wine Bar by El Tapeo located on Sukhumvit 26, where each dish was expertly paired with Beronia wines from Rioja. The experience was a luxurious indulgence in exotic flavors leaving our palates thoroughly satisfied.

 



As the afternoon unfolded, Here's another notable spot you definitely shouldn't overlook ascended to the 49th Floor “Octave Rooftop Lounge & Bar” at Bangkok Marriott Hotel Sukhumvit, where we were treated to breathtaking views of Bangkok as the sun dipped below the horizon. Throughout our journey, we immersed ourselves in Thailand's rich culture, sampled the distinctive flavors of Nomad Whisky, and honed our skills in crafting unique cocktails with memories of this remarkable trip firmly etched in our minds, we eagerly anticipate our next adventure with Nomad Outland Whisky.

ABOUT NOMAD. A premium blended whisky made from unique selection of over 30 different malt and grain whiskies from Speyside, Scotland. The blend is left to mature in Scotland for 6 years and then it travels to Jerez where it will be aged for 1 more year in old Pedro Ximenez casks. This outland whisky matures in the unique micro-climate of Jerez, subject to the different changes in temperature, the winds and the humidity of the Andalusian city close to the sea. NOMAD, over time, will absorb the native yeasts which are present in the atmosphere of the cellar, and it will be imbued with the tastes and flavours of the old Pedro Ximenez casks, previously used to age sherry, giving the whisky its unique character.
